This salve is our go-to wherever we would normally use petroleum jelly. It can help to soothe irritated skin; a small dab can help when healing new tattoos, bug bites, rashes, or razor burn. It’s also gentle enough to be used on little ones over 12 months of age. Always do a patch test first, just to make sure that there are no sensitivities, and use care with infants under one year of age, as they can have sensitivity to bee products. Please consult a physician if you have more questions, as none of our products have been tested for use on infants under 12 months of age. In addition, although the essential oils in the salve are an intrinsic part of the formula and are very soothing for many people’s skin, if you prefer to have your salve essential oil-less, let us know at checkout and we’ll be glad to formulate yours without the lavender and frankincense.
